Shortly after the start of the second half, he also brought on Lewis Colwill and Jayden Sancho in place of Badiashile and Pedro Neto. With these changes, Chelsea’s performance improved further. Chelsea equalized in the 65th minute with a goal from Enzo Fernandez.

Five minutes later, Cole Palmer, who played excellently and won the player of the match award, provided an assist for Nicolas Jackson to score another goal, giving Chelsea the lead for the first time in this match. With seven minutes left in regular time, Jayden Sancho scored another goal, increasing the gap between the two teams. Chelsea’s fourth goal in this match was scored by Moses Caicedo during extra time. While Chelsea won this match against Real Betis, this is the first time since 2002 that a team from another country has defeated a Spanish team in the final of a major tournament.
