Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes has been given a 72-hour deadline to decide on playing for Al Hilal of Saudi Arabia. As Bruno has to make a decision within the next three days, he is not entirely satisfied with United. This is due to the team’s significant drop in form and the lack of opportunity to play in any European competition next season. United is the only major English club that will not be playing in Europe next season.

Al Hilal has offered Manchester United £100 million to purchase 30-year-old Bruno. And the player has been offered a salary of £700,000 per week. English newspapers are also saying that Bruno will sit down with United’s management very soon to decide on this proposal.

Many media outlets predict that United’s management will be very keen to sell Bruno at this price. This is because United is facing financial difficulties. And also because the squad can only be strengthened by spending money obtained from selling many of the current players. However, selling Bruno is not part of coach Ruben Amorim’s plan. He is working to build a strong team for next season with Bruno as the leader.
