In a strategic move to enhance banking accessibility for businesses and employees operating in Thilafushi, Bank of Maldives (BML) has officially inaugurated a new ATM center on the island. The facility was formally opened by the Minister of Economic Development and Trade, Mohamed Saeed.
The introduction of this ATM is expected to significantly streamline financial transactions, eliminating the need for regular travel to Male’ for banking purposes, thereby saving both time and operational costs. Operating 24 hours a day, the ATM offers a comprehensive range of services, including cash withdrawals, deposits, and fund transfers.
This initiative is a key component of the Bank’s ongoing nationwide expansion project. Notably, this installation was completed with greater efficiency and at a lower cost than previous projects, reflecting the Bank’s commitment to delivering modern banking solutions across the Maldives.
