BML ATM Service Officially Launched in Th. Kandoodhoo

Bank of Maldives (BML) ATM service has been officially launched in Kandoodhoo, Kolhumadulu Atoll. The official inauguration of the BML ATM service in Kandoodhoo took place during President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu’s current visit to Kolhumadulu Atoll. As part of the President’s tour, ATM services are set to be established in 8 islands of Th. Atoll, expanding BML ATM services across the entire atoll. A special ceremony was held in Th. Kandoodhoo to officially launch the BML ATM service. President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu inaugurated this service at the ceremony. After launching the service, he presented a commemorative bank card to the island council president.

The ceremony was attended by cabinet ministers, BML Chairperson Ahmed Ali Habeeb, BML CEO and Managing Director Mohame and Managing Director Mohamed Shareef, along with other senior officials from BML. BML states that the ATM installed in Vilufushi will provide 24-hour cash withdrawal and deposit services for individuals and businesses, in addition to bill payment and transfer services. Under the project to establish BML ATM services in outer atolls, ATMs have been installed and services have begun in all inhabited islands of 13 atolls so far. As Bank of Maldives carries out the nationwide ATM installation project under the supervision of the Ministry of Economic Development, BML’s goal is to complete this project entirely by the end of this year.

With a banking network covering the entire country, including 42 branches in 20 atolls, 171 Self-Service Banking Centers, 229 ATMs, and the most modern most modern online banking services, Bank of Maldives aims to provide assistance to individuals, businesses, and communities across different parts of the country.
