Challenging the Jews and their biggest supporter, the United States, Belgium, a member state of the European Union (EU), has decided to recognize Palestine’s independence. This was announced by Belgium’s Foreign Minister, Maxime Prévot. Belgium decided to recognize Palestine’s independence during the United Nations (UN) General Assembly session held in New York this month. Belgium’s decision to recognize Palestine as an independent state comes at a time when some countries, historically considered allies of the Jews, have also decided to recognize Palestine’s independence. These countries include France, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia. Among them, France is a major power in the EU, and the United Kingdom is considered one of the powerful Western nations.
Prévot revealed in a post on X that the Belgian government has decided to sign the ‘New York Declaration’ resolution drafted to recognize Palestine’s independence. He stated that along with this resolution, it would pave the way for establishing two independent states for Jews and Muslims in the Palestinian territories occupied by Jews. As the number of countries announcing their recognition of Palestine’s independence increases, Zionist Israel has become enraged. Prévot said that Belgium decided to recognize Palestine’s independence as a way to oppose the humanitarian catastrophe imposed by Jews on the people of Gaza in Palestine. And also as a way to say no to the illegal crimes being committed by Jewish forces against the people of Gaza.
France and Saudi Arabia are coordinating the efforts to recognize Palestine’s independence during the UN General Assembly session. Analysts believe this will be a strong step towards condemning the Gaza genocide and stopping the crimes committed by Jews to seize more Palestinian lands. In addition to recognizing Palestine’s independence, the Belgian government has also decided to take punitive measures against Zionist Israel. In this regard, 12 measures have been approved, including banning the import of goods produced by Jewish settlers in Palestinian territories and companies established in those lands to Belgium.
The Gaza genocide began on October 7, 2023. The number of people martyred in this massacre has risen to 63,000, mostly innocent women, children, and the elderly. And the number of injured has risen to 158,000.
