Barcelona secured a 3-0 victory against Levante in last night’s Spanish La Liga match, successfully reclaiming their position at the top of the table. Playing at Barcelona’s Spotify Camp Nou, the home side took an early lead in the 4th minute with a goal by Marc Bernal. Dominating possession throughout the encounter, Barcelona maintained intense pressure on the opposition, registering a total of nine shots on target.

The second goal for Barcelona came in the 32nd minute, when Frenkie de Jong clinicaly finished a pass delivered by João Cancelo. Despite Barcelona’s persistent offensive efforts, Levante’s Australian goalkeeper, Mathew Ryan, made several crucial saves, most notably denying attempts from Raphinha and Lopez. The final goal of the match was scored by substitute Fermín López, who found the back of the net nine minutes before the end of regulation time.

With this result, Barcelona currently leads the league standings with 61 points from 25 matches. Real Madrid follows closely in second place with 60 points.
