Despite winning 3-0 against Mallorca in their first Spanish League match, Barcelona’s coach Xavi Hernández has expressed dissatisfaction with the team’s performance. Speaking after the match, the coach said he was very unhappy with how the players performed. “We got a two-goal lead and (the opposing team) received two red cards, but we played at 50 percent. This is not acceptable to me. Even though we got the important three points, we can’t play like this,” the coach said. The German coach, who led Barcelona to the championship last season, said he wants to have a serious talk with the players about their performance.

“I don’t want anyone who plays at 50 percent. I will talk to the players about this,” the coach said. In last night’s match, Barcelona had English forward Marcus Rashford play for the last 20 minutes. The coach said he doesn’t want to put too much pressure on Rashford and that he needs time to slowly adapt to Barcelona’s style and team.
