The Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) and ADK Hospital have signed an agreement to expand medical tourism in the Maldives. The agreement was signed at a ceremony held at MMPRC, with Ibrahim Shiury, CEO of MMPRC, signing on behalf of the corporation. Ahmed Affal, Managing Director, signed on behalf of ADK.
Shiury stated that the Maldives has long been known as a destination for luxury services, and by diversifying tourism offerings to include medical tourism, they are not only strengthening the country’s popularity as a global travel destination but also helping to develop the healthcare infrastructure in the Maldives.
This agreement aims to promote the Maldives as a destination for medical tourism, combining the country’s renowned luxury tourism sector with high-quality medical services. It represents a significant step in diversifying the Maldives’ tourism industry and enhancing its healthcare capabilities.

Under this agreement, MMPRC and ADK Hospital will work together to establish the Maldives as a destination for high-quality medical services.
