President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has designated three lagoons in Alif Dhaal Atoll as part of Omadhoo island. The lagoons designated as part of Omadhoo are Kudadhoo Falhu, and the lagoons with code numbers RF1329 and RF1330 in the atoll. The President designated these lagoons as part of Omadhoo to facilitate economic development projects, including tourism, that would benefit the residents.

Following the designation of ADh. Kudadhoo Falhu and the lagoons with code numbers RF1329 and RF1330 as part of Omadhoo, the list of inhabited islands in the Maldives has been updated. This update was made through an amendment to the decree published in the Government Gazette, which defines inhabited islands in the Maldives under the Decentralization Act.
