Minister Adam Shareef Umar has stated that efforts are underway, in collaboration with relevant institutions, to resolve the increasing challenges faced by local councils in small populations in recruiting administrative staff. This issue is particularly prevalent in islands with abundant economic opportunities. Furthermore, the government is actively working to address space constraints within council offices, renovate dilapidated buildings, and enhance the quality of public services provided through the decentralization system.
