Minister of Health, Abdulla Nazim Ibrahim, has stated that the current five-year term will witness the most significant investment in the development of the Maldives’ healthcare infrastructure, bringing about substantial and positive transformations for the public.
Speaking at the inauguration of dialysis services at the Dhaalu Atoll Hospital, the Minister highlighted that essential services, including laboratory facilities, MRI, and CT scans, will be further expanded. This initiative aims to establish a more accessible healthcare system, bringing vital services closer to the community.
The Minister further assured that, under the leadership and guidance of the President, health policies have been strategically aligned and the necessary budgetary provisions have been secured. He expressed full confidence that by the conclusion of this five-year period, a new era will begin in the nation’s healthcare sector, providing sustainable and permanent solutions to the long-standing concerns of the citizens.
