Minister of Economic Development and Trade, Mohamed Saeed, has announced that over 700 applications have been submitted for this year’s National Creative Expo, scheduled to take place from October 23 to 31. This marks a significant increase compared to the 270 applications received last year. Aimed at providing opportunities for Maldivian artisans and businesses, this year’s expo is open to participants aged 13 and above. The event will feature products across 73 categories within 16 distinct sectors, offering a platform for showcasing, selling, and marketing local innovations.
