In his message on the occasion of International Youth Day, President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu emphasized that the youth are the nation’s greatest asset and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to providing them with higher education and career opportunities. With youth making up 45 percent of the Maldivian population, the administration is actively working to empower them through key initiatives such as the National Apprenticeship Program and the establishment of a creative economy. Prioritizing skill development and preparing the youth for the workforce remains a cornerstone of the government’s efforts to ensure a bright future for the nation.
