The Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA) has announced that despite the ongoing government holidays for Eid al-Adha, banks will be open for service on Wednesday, June 28th, from 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM. However, as cash and coin transactions will not be processed on that day, the authority advises the public to withdraw or obtain any necessary funds within this week. With Hajj Day falling on the 26th of this month, government offices are scheduled to resume official operations after June 30th.
