Odi Sports Club secured a commanding victory in the FAM Women’s League 2025, defeating TC Sports Club with an impressive 7-0 scoreline, largely thanks to four goals scored by Fathimath Saaliya.
This significant win propelled Odi Sports Club to the top of the league table with four points from two matches. In contrast, TC Sports Club remains at the bottom of the standings, having conceded 13 goals in their first two games. Odi Sports Club dominated the entire match, played at Henveiru Stadium, preventing TC Sports Club from even threatening their goal. Captain Fathimath Saaliya opened the scoring for Odi in the 5th minute. Shortly after, Faraha Ahmed doubled Odi’s lead in the 9th minute.
Altaf Mohamed extended Odi’s advantage with the third goal in the 17th minute. Saaliya then converted a penalty in the 29th minute, marking her second goal of the match. Just before halftime, Fathimath Inaasha Adam also scored from a penalty during stoppage time. Saaliya completed her hat-trick in the 45th minute, and later secured her fourth goal of the match, contributing to Odi’s sixth goal in the 59th minute. Today’s league fixtures will see Victory Club face Maziya.
