In commemoration of the 75th anniversary of the Attorney General’s Office, a commemorative book has been released and a new website has been launched. The website, inaugurated to mark the 75th anniversary of the Attorney General’s Office, is designed to be user-friendly in every aspect. This website allows for quick access to information and documents using modern technology.
The website was inaugurated by President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu. The most special feature of the Attorney General’s Office’s new website is the introduction of an artificial intelligence feature that provides legal information. From the AI feature, important sections of the laws enforced in the Maldives can be found on the website. It will also provide information from laws related to specific topics. This is the first time a government agency’s website has facilitated access to legal information through chat with the assistance of artificial intelligence.
As the AI chat is still in its early stages of learning, the AG’s Office states that more detailed and comprehensive answers to legal questions will be available in the future with additional information. At this ceremony, a commemorative book was also released in connection with the 75th anniversary of the Attorney General’s Office. This book was launched by President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu.
The book includes very detailed information about the work of the institution over the past years, the people who have served, and the services provided. The ceremony was attended by some former Attorneys General and individuals who have served the office at various times.
