As part of the agreement reached this week to halt the aggressive attacks that Jews have been carrying out on Gaza since October 7, 2023, the Jews have decided to release 154 of the Palestinian citizens scheduled for release and exile them to other countries, never to return to Palestine. The Palestinian Prisoners’ Media Office has also confirmed that some of the approximately 250 people released from Jewish prisons on Monday and some of the 1,700 Palestinians taken into Jewish custody during the two years of aggression will be sent to another country without the possibility of return. However, it is unclear which country they are being sent to. While the Jews have decided to treat the Palestinian citizens they agreed to release in such a cruel manner, the Hamas group ruling Gaza has released the Jewish prisoners under their custody in accordance with the agreement.

During the prisoner exchange between Hamas and the Jews in January, the Jews had exiled a large number of Palestinian citizens to regional countries, including Tunisia, Algeria, and Turkey, in a way that they could not return to their country. Analysts of the situation noted that forcibly exiling people to another country is a violation of the citizenship rights of the freed Palestinian citizens. They also say it demonstrates the deceitfulness of the Jews.

With the Jewish decision, the families of the released Gaza of the released Gaza prisoners and captives have once again faced additional sorrow and grief. Exiling prisoners and captives to foreign countries will create additional obstacles for families to meet them. This is because the Jews control the regional borders of Gaza. Even if the Jews allow families the opportunity to go to those countries, families would also be forced to leave their own homeland in such a situation.

The purpose of the Jews treating Palestinian prisoners and captives in this way is to deprive Hamas and other Palestinian groups of the opportunity to gain any symbolic victory as a result of the ceasefire agreement. It is also to ensure that the exiled prisoners are deprived of participating in any political or other activities and cannot participate in anything related to the aggression. While it is expected that they will face major obstacles in the countries they are exiled to, some parties describe the decision as taking them out of a small cell and putting them in a large foreign cell.
